Mayor Tony Gioia

Personal

· Born 1/3/56 in New York

· Reared partially in NYC; partially in the small country town of Brewster, NY

· Attended Staten Island Community College and Richmond College

· Raced Semi-Pro and Professional Motorcycle Road Racing for 18 years,
  nationally ranked.

· Other hobbies include photography, horseback riding, motorcycling,
  mountain biking, camping, flying, hiking and down hill/slalom skiing

· Relocated to New Jersey in '85

· Fell in love with Camp Verde and purchased a home here in '94

· Met Kim in Camp Verde and we married in '99, I was twice blessed and became Sarah's
  stepfather at that time.

Professional Experience:

· Worked as a roofer

· Have worked for the United States Postal Service since '74

· District Manager for a food supplements franchise

· Owner, manager and lead rider in Professional Road Racing team

· Owner of a racing safety equipment company, our activities included research and development,
  sponsorship, retail, importing and wholesale

Town of Camp Verde:

· Re-elected Mayor in 2007 for another 2 year term

· Served 2, 4 year terms as a Councilmember

· Previously served as Vice-Mayor

Vice Mayor Brenda Hauser

Personal  

          · Moved from Cairo, Illinois to Phoenix

        · Met and married Dick Hauser

        · Moved to Camp Verde

        · Dick and I have four children

        · Four children and 12 grandchildren

Nine of the grandchildren have graduated from local high schools or still attend Camp Verde School system.  My family loves Camp Verde and we enjoy hiking, fishing, picnicking, and swimming in the creek. 

Professional Experience

        · Graduated from nursing school in Prescott

        · Worked many years at the Cottonwood hospital and in Verde Valley medical facilities

        · The Hauser family has farmed in and around Camp Verde since 1970.

        · We sell sweet corn in the summer, pumpkins in October and grow hay and corn for animals

        · Serves on the County Cooperative Extension Board

            .  Elected Secretary/Treasurer, Elected Chief Camp Verde Vol. Fire Department 10 years service

 Councilmember Ron Smith

 Personal  

        · Born in California, and my family moved to Phoenix, AZ, shortly thereafter

        · Graduated North Phoenix High School

        · Enlisted in US Air Force, serving 5 years, with honorable discharge          

        · Graduated from Arizona State University, BS in Microbiology

        · I married my wife of 33 years, Diane.  We have a daughter, and 3 grandchildren

        · Returned to Arizona in 1985, and purchased a home in Sedona

        · We later moved to the home we built in Camp Verde in 1995

We moved here for the acreage and opportunity to enjoy horse-back riding and our animals.  We presently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a mule and horse.  I am an active trail rider and a trail activist.  I enjoy riding with my mule and horse, camping, motor-cycle touring, and golf.

Professional Experience

Department Head, Cardio- Pulmonary Department – St. Luke’s Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ 

Department Head, Cardio-Pulmonary Department – Alisal Community Hospital, and Natividad Medical Center, Salinas CA

Founded National Cardiopulmonary Services, where we managed Cardio, Pulmonary, Respiratory Departments and employees for two hospitals, with over 20 plus employees.  This later expanded into a full home health care company, NCS Medical Supply, where we offered oxygen and pulmonary therapy services to home patients, as well as a full range of general medical home care equipment.  I managed and employed over 100 people, in this full-service company.

Western U.S. Sales Manager, Union Carbide – Linde Division

Owned and managed a retail, new boat company, with 20+ employees, and I am now retired.

          · 1968 - Married Michael Anthony Garrison (now Senior Pastor-Camp Verde’s 1st Assembly of God)

          · We owned and operated Garrison’s Meat Processing and Sales family business from 1974-1987

          · We have one son and one daughter (both attended and graduated from Camp Verde schools)

          · We have five grandchildren

        · A stay at home mother with years of volunteering in the local school system and community

        · Worked in a local business after children left home and started their life's journey
