4. Consent Agenda - All those items listed below may be enacted upon by one motion and approved as consent agenda items. Any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item if a member of Council requests.

5. Call to the Public for Items not on the Agenda Pursuant to ARS §38-431.01.G, Residents are encouraged to comment about any matter not included on the agenda. State law prevents the Council from taking any action on items not on the agenda, except to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the public body, ask staff to review a matter, or ask that a matter be included on a future agenda.

 

Please note: The Clerk's Office makes every attempt to provide a complete agenda packet for public review. However, it is not always possible or feasible to include all information in the packet. You are encouraged to contact the Clerk's Office for copies of supporting documentation, if any, that were unavailable at the time the packet was prepared.

 

Public input may be invited on the following:

6. Discussion, consideration, and possible acceptance of Councilor Hunter's resignation.

 

7. Discussion, consideration, and possible appointment to fill Councilor Hunter's remaining term which expires in May 2005.

 

8. Discussion, consideration, and possible approval of a blading plan for private roads.

 

9. Discussion, consideration, and possible appointment of a Vice Mayor. The Vice Mayor serves at the pleasure of Council for a one-year term.

 

10. Discussion, consideration, and possible appointment of Council members to serve on any and all committees in which the Town wishes to be involved. Council members usually serve on the committees until the next General Election.

 

11. Discussion, consideration, and possible approval for Council members to work jointly with the Acting Manager in conducting performance reviews of all Department Heads.

 

12. Discussion, consideration, and possible direction to staff to begin advertising for a Town Manager.

 

Mayor Dickinson requested item #13:

13. Discussion, consideration, and possible approval of Ordinance 2003-A255, an ordinance of the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Camp Verde, Yavapai County, Arizona, repealing Town Code Section 2-3-6 Preparation of the Agenda, Paragraph C - establishing a policy for reconsideration of agenda items.

 

14. Call to the Public for Items not on the Agenda

17. Council Informational Reports Individual members of the Council may provide brief summaries of current events and activities. These summaries are strictly for informing the public of such events and activities. The Council will have no discussion, consideration, or take action on any such item, except that an individual Council member may request that the item be placed on a future agenda.
