Current General Plan Meeting Schedule
Voters ratified the 2004 General Plan by a 59% to 41% margin during the March 8, 2005 election. The Town Council adopted the 2004 Camp Verde General Plan on December 1, 2004 with a 6-1 vote.
Public hearings for major amendments to the Camp Verde General Plan are considered once a year during the month of September by the Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council. The Planning Commission conducts a public hearing and forwards a recommendation to the Council. The Council conducts a second public hearing and makes the decision on major amendments.
Minor amendments to the General Plan are considered on a monthly basis as requests are made.
