Welcome to Community Development. Community Development  consists of the Planning and Zoning Department and the Building Department. The Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustments & Appeals also operate under Community Development. You can also access Public Meeting Information consisting of current agendas, public notices and actions taken through this page.

Planning and Zoning
The Planning and Zoning Department guides the physical development of the Town. Examples of the department's work include implementation of the Camp Verde General Plan; administration, enforcement and updating of the Zoning Ordinance; processing of rezoning and general plan amendments requests; processing sign permits; and support of the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments & Appeals.

Building
The Building Department helps ensure that safe and legal structures are built in Camp Verde. The department issues building permits and reviews and approves all public and private construction projects from single-family homes to office buildings, from remodeled businesses to the placement of manufactured homes.
