ARIZONA D-BACKS BASEBALL GAME BUS TRIPS

The Diamond Backs baseball nights are back. Tickets are now on sale at the parks & Recreation office. The games we will attend are Tuesday April 14 2009 for the D-Backs vs Colorado at 6:40 P.M. The second game we will attend will be Saturday September 19, 2009 The D-Backs Vs Colorado at 510 P.M. This game will be a special bonus night for all fans entering chase field. The bus will leave the parks & Recreations office in front of the gym on Hollamon St two and a half hours before game time.

CO-REC. SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The Camp Verde Parks and Recreation is proud to announce the Camp Verde Co-Rec Softball League. This is an adult Softball league that will play every Monday at Butler Park in Camp Verde. Depending on the number of teams we may have games at Heritage Park. The league will play a minimum 7 game regular season with a double elimination tournament at the end of the season. Winners will get a team trophy and t-shirts from the Camp Verde Parks & Recreation. The league registration fee is $275 which covers officials and an ASA membership Card Games will be played between 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. The deadline for registration is April 29, 2009. Any teams signing up after April 29, 2009. Will pay $300.00 as a late entry.

10th ANNUAL KVRD FATHER/CHILD GOLF TOURNAMENT

Attention all fathers and children interested in golf. This fathers day weekend, spend some quality time bonding on the B C Ranch Golf Course. KKLD and the Camp Verde Parks and Recreation have your chance to play in the 11^th Annual Father/Child golf tournament. Children 6-17 can compete separately in our juvenile division. All adult pairings over the age of 18 can come out and enjoy a day on the course with that hero of a dad you have in the adult division. This year a special 2 some scrabble tournament will be incorporated into the field to compete for prizes. Registration is limited to the first 20 2 some. So weather you are in the juvenile, adult or a random 2 some the father/ child golf tournament is for you. With prizes and food you don’t want to miss this fun day out on the course.

The tournament will take place at the B C Ranch Golf Course on Saturday June 20, 2009. The tournament will start at 7:30 a.m. with sign in and purchasing of muligan’s and raffle tickets. The tournament will be a scramble format for each division. The cost of the tournament will be $85 for fathers and juvenile’s and all fathers and adults, the price will be $95 per team entry. The 2 some tournament will be $120 per 2 some team.

Registration is limited to the first 60 parings, so come into Parks and Recreation or call 567-0535 132. The Parks & Recreation Department would also ask that if any one would like to sponsor a hole in support of the tournament the cost is $50. Sponsors will have a hole with the sponsors name posted as a supporter.
